Clarivania Morgan Cortez
Bilingual Youth Case Manager
As a bilingual (English and Spanish) case manager at the Women’s Opportunity Rehabilitation Center (WORC), Inc., I provide wraparound support to youth facing life challenges, including truancy, foster care transitions, homelessness, and reentry from the justice system.
In my role, I offer individualized case management services grounded in trust and respect, helping youth navigate systems and connect to vital resources such as education, employment, and social services. I support clients in exploring career pathways, developing resumes, and preparing for the workforce with the goal of fostering long-term stability and self-sufficiency. Together, we identify their strengths and aspirations to promote meaningful personal and professional growth. I’ve also had the privilege of facilitating girls’ groups focused on social-emotional learning, creating a safe and empowering space for reflection, connection, and healing.
I hold an Associate of Arts in Humanities and Social Sciences from Nassau Community College, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Queens College, and a Master of Social Work from Stony Brook University.
