Lisa Williamson
Program Manager
Dr. Williamson serves as a key leader within the WORC program where she is dedicated to empowering justice-impacted women and youth through holistic support, education, and workforce development. She oversees daily program operations, ensuring effective service delivery, community engagement, and participant outcomes. As a certified trauma informed care and trauma responsive facilitator, Dr. Williamson conducts weekly evidence-based CBI groups at the Nassau County Correctional Facility. Dr. Williamson is the trainer for Interactive Journaling, Motivational Interviewing, One Circle Foundation Girls Circle, and Trauma Informed Care.
In addition to program leadership, Dr. Williamson is also responsible for grant writing and management, identifying funding opportunities, preparing proposals, and ensuring compliance and reporting for awarded grants. Her position requires a strong understanding of issues affecting justice-involved populations, strategic thinking, and the ability to build collaborative relationships with partners, funders, and stakeholders. Her overall mission is to provide opportunities for women and youth to be transformed and attain purpose driven lives.
Dr. Williamson received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornell University, Master of Public Health from New York University, Doctor of Medicine from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Master of Divinity from new Brunswick Theological Seminary and Master of Sacred Theology from Drew University.
