Our Mission
WORC exists to assist female offenders in their rehabilitation, thus breaking the cycle of recidivism by determining and addressing the root causes of their criminal behavior.
We envision fulfilling our mission by developing a program designed to help women become self-sufficient and empowered and to divest them from public assistance. The effects of incarceration, long-term abuse, victimization and post-traumatic stress disorder will be addressed through personal counseling.
